Founded in 1986, The Yigal Allon Educational Center and Museum is a vibrant educational center, bringing over 140,000 participants a year, while focusing on the humanistic Zionist values of Yigal Allon.
Serving diverse cross sections of Israeli citizens, The Center offers educational programs designed to bring together Israeli society, with the values of its founders through the hands of our staff and educators.
Our programs are offered at public schools, gap year programs (mechinot), to IDF soldiers and commanders, police officers, Shin Bet officers and others. Most of our program participants are Jews and Arabs who reside in Israel’s geographic, social and economic periphery.
The Center’s programs range from a day of experiential learning to a seven-month residential leadership academy for changemakers. While rooted in our core values, the programs are adapted to different age groups and correspond to the needs of different institutions.
